Sedona Film School Scholarship Fund

The SFS Shorts Film Festival takes place over Memorial Day weekend every year. A community favorite, the annual event screens all SFS graduates’ thesis short films and award winners from the High School Film Competition. A wonderful celebration exhibiting films for cultural enrichment, community, education, and entertainment, the student film festival is inspiring.
The Grand Prize for the High School Film Competition is a full, in-state scholarship for the Sedona Film School Narrative or Documentary program. Please help us keep this wonderful scholarship alive by donating to the fund. There are many students who would love to attend film school, but cannot make their dreams come true without your generosity. Help us extend this scholarship opportunity to more eager filmmakers every year!
Sponsors of the Film Festival also make the celebrations more special and create an incredible film festival experience. Proceeds support future screenings for the graduates’ films as they launch their careers in filmmaking.
The 13th annual SFS Shorts Film Festival is in May, 2013!

Seeking Production Partners
Each year the advanced certificate program at SFS participates on a large scale production.
- In 2005, Eastman Kodak gave a grant to the film school which provided students in the advanced program the opportunity to work on a large scale, Kodak 35 mm short film production.
- In 2006, the independent production company AZ Film Link gave students the experience of working on a feature film.
- In 2007, students worked on a feature length documentary.
